Briogeo (“Briogeo” or the “Company”) is committed to maintaining the privacy and security of your consumer health data in compliance with Washington State, Nevada, Connecticut and other applicable state consumer health data privacy laws and our Privacy Policy

This policy applies to the collection of consumer health data from residents of those states covered by applicable state consumer health data privacy laws. This policy supplements our “Privacy Policy” to provide Washington State residents with information required by the Washington My Health My Data Act (“MHMDA”), Nevada residents with information required by the Nevada Health Data Privacy Act (“NHDPA”), and Connecticut residents with information required by the Connecticut Data Privacy Act (“CTDPA”). This policy applies only to individuals residing in states who are considered “consumers” and from whom we collect “consumer health data” as described in the applicable respective health data privacy laws.

What is consumer health data?.

Consumer health data is personal information that is linked or reasonably linkable to a consumer and that identifies the consumer’s past, present, or future physical or mental health status. Depending on the applicable state law, consumer health data may be limited to identifiable health data that a regulated entity uses to identify the past, present or future health status of the consumer.

What categories of consumer health data do we collect?

We collect the following categories of consumer health data: individual health conditions and bodily functions and symptoms. We collect consumer health data from you directly when you voluntarily provide it to us by taking our health quiz and providing answers. We share your answers to our health quiz with our website provider that provides us with the web page that collects the answers. We use your answers to the quiz to suggest certain product selection choices. To the extent you take our quiz, you consent to the sharing of your consumer health data with our website provider and use of consumer health data to provide you with informational and marketing materials, including suggested product selection choices, and to fulfill your order.

In addition to our quiz, your selection and purchase of particular products may or may not indicate your health status. We do not seek to draw any inferences regarding your individual health status from your selection and purchase of our products. To the extent product selection data is considered consumer health data under applicable consumer health data privacy laws, it is covered by this policy. We may collect and use your product selection data for the purposes described in our Privacy Policy. These purposes include, for example, presenting you with product choices and fulfilling your order. Fulfilling your order may result in your product selections being disclosed to third parties, such as order fulfillment providers. To the extent that you place product orders, you consent to the sharing of your product selections with third parties to deliver to you the products you ordered.

We collect consumer health data from you directly when you take our quiz and, to the extent that product selection choices are considered to be consumer health data under applicable law, from your interactions with our products and offerings.

Do we sell your consumer health data?

We do not sell your consumer health data.

How to exercise your rights?

If you are a resident of Washington State, Nevada, Connecticut or another state with applicable consumer health data privacy laws, subject to certain exceptions, you have the right to confirm collection of and to obtain access to, and to delete or withdraw consent as it relates to consumer health data. You also have the right to appeal any denial of these rights.
