This year, for Women’s History Month, Briogeo is celebrating the women who tell our stories and highlighting different type of storytellers that the Briogeo team connects with.

This week, we’re highlighting female authors who’ve inspired and excited us with their stories. We’re excited to share three standout authors as well as a community reading list created by the Briogeo team:

Kiley Reid: In her best-selling novel, Such a Fun Age, Ried explores topics of race, class, and identity through the realtionship between a young Black nanny and a white family. Her next novel, Come and Get It, will hit shelves in 2024.

Geraldine DeRuiter: In 2017, DeRuiter published All Over the Place: Adventures in Travel, True Love, and Petty Theft - a humorous memoir which details her years of traveling the world after getting laid off. She’s also the voice behind her award-winning blog, Everywhereist. 

Meena Harris: Harris is a lawyer, activist, and children’s book author of two bestsellers: Kamala and Maya’s Big Idea and  Ambitious Girl. She also founded the Phenomenal Women Action Campaign - an organization that spotlights the experiences of underrepresented groups.
